We celebrated Mike's birthday with both of our families. Mike told me that this was his best birthday so far because Michael was here to share it with him!!!
First Carousel Ride

We went to the mall today and there happened to be a carousel. Of course, I was very excited to take Michael for a ride. These are pictures we took before we got in trouble by the security guard.

Michael is getting stronger and stronger. He is now able to stand holding onto something for about a minute before he falls. Here are pictures of Michael standing with his piano. He is getting so big.

Backwards Crawl

Tonight, I was getting Michael's diaper bag prepared for Aunt Ashlynne's house the next day. I set Michael on the nursery floor behind me and I was facing the changing table. About a minute later, I turned around and he was gone!! I looked further behind me and realized that Michael had somehow gotten himself to the other side of the nursery!
I set him back in the middle of the nursery and he began to push himself backwards. I was so happy to see him finally move!! I took many pictures and videotaped as well! These are pictures of Michael at the other side of the nursery when he first pushed himself backwards!
Atlantic City

Mike got me tickets to see Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban for my birthday present. We went to Atlantic City and the concert was amazing. It was such a wonderful night.
Michael loves balloons
Michael loves going to the grocery store especially since he has been able to sit up in the cart. He loves smiling and talking with the other shoppers, he loves looking at all the lights and signs, and he loves smelling and touching the fruits and veggies that I am purchasing. Most of all, he loves the balloons at the ends of the aisles and at the checkout. So on Valentine's Day, I got him his first balloon. I attached it to our cart when we first got to the store. It didn't take him long to figure out that when he pulled the string the balloon would fly down and bop Mommy on the head! He really thought that was funny. So I was bopped on the head the entire time I shopped and I enjoyed every bit of watching him smile and discover something fun and new!

Michael's First Car Show

We took Michael to the Philadelphia car show this year. Last year, we went when we were pregnant with Michael. It was much more fun to be holding Michael in our arms this year. He was such a great baby and enjoyed looking at all the different cars with his daddy.

Michael and Clover

We bought this ball for Michael before Christmas and he has recently started to really like playing with it. He loves to pick it up and tap it and sometimes even roll it. The problem is that Clover loves this ball as well. She never touches any of Michael's toys, however, I find this ball in Clover's mouth any chance she gets. In this picture, Clover is peeking at the ball. She can't wait for her turn!!
