My Baby is One Month Old

Today was Michael's big one month birthday. It felt like it came so fast. I can't believe he is already a month old!! It has been amazing to see him grow and learn more and more everyday. We set the camera up on a table in the nursery and took some family portraits. It was a lot of fun. We tried to get Clover in the family picture...but that was impossible. We are one crazy, HAPPY family!!!

On August 27, 2007 Michael had his one month appointment. He weighed 9 pounds 2 ounces and was 22 inches!!

First Trip to the Boat

Today we took Michael to MiMi and Pop's boat for the first time. He got to meet Great PopPop and Uncle Jim. We had a really fun time. Here are some pictures of Michael with Pop and Great PopPop. Great PopPop and Uncle Jim were surprised by Michael's red hair.

Tonight, the baby took a bottle for the first time. It was exciting to see Mike feed Michael. Mike smiled the entire time...he is so in love with our little guy. They both did a great job!!

A Walk in the Park

This morning, Ashlynne, Aimee, Katie, Robby, Nolan, Michael and I all went for a walk in Northhampton Park. I am so greatful to have my sisters live so close to me. Aimee, Ashlynne and Mom have been such an awesome support to me since Michael arrived. I knew they would be wonderful, but sometimes I wonder...how could I be this lucky. Honestly, I feel like the luckiest woman in the world!!

Here are some fun pictures from our morning at the park. Katie and Robby both helped push Michael's stroller. Nolan rode on the swing for the first time. It was a beautiful morning.

Four Weeks Old- Family Photo

This Thursday, Michael is four weeks old. It is hard to believe that just 4 weeks ago I was at Bryn Mawr Hospital waiting to meet Michael for the first time. Mike and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful son. Often, I wonder what we did before Michael came. These 4 weeks have been the best weeks of our lives....everything is just more special since he arrived!! We love you so much, Michael!!!!

I love watching Mike and Michael grow closer everyday. As soon as Mike gets home from work, he wants to cuddle with Michael right away. Every night, we spend family time together on the activity mat. I love seeing the way Mike looks at Michael...he just melts everytime he sees him. They are forming such an amazing bond. Michael recognizes his voice and smiles more and more with daddy each day! I feel so blessed everytime I see the love they share. Here are my two favorite boys playing on the activity mat together.
