Nolan's 1st Birthday
Nolan turned 1 on April 8th. Nolan is such an amazing little boy and I am so happy he lives so close to us. It has been such a blessing to see Michael and Nolan growing up together. It is so awesome to see Ashlynne as a mom. She is such a role model for me. Here are some pictures of Nolan's birthday celebration. Ashlynne made a train cake for Nolan. Here are some pictures of the birthday prince.

First Swing Ride
He did it!!
8 Months Old
March 26, 2008
These are Michael's 8 month pictures. We are waiting for him to crawl anyday and we are still waiting for his top two teeth to come through. He has done a few little crawls but he hasn't quite mastered his forward crawl. He is really wanting to get around. You can see him get frustrated when he can't get to something in front of him. Look at our happy little guy. We just love him so much. I often wonder how I got so lucky!!!
Easter
March 23, 2008
Celebrating Easter this year was very special. We celebrated with both of our families after we went to church in the morning. Michael particpated in his first Easter egg hunt. He picked up one egg under a bush while Daddy held him. Here are a few pictures of our beautiful day.
Two days before Easter, I noticed Michael's top two teeth under his gums. Looks like he will be getting some teeth soon!
Michael's First St. Patrick's Day
March 17, 2008
For Michael's first St. Patrick's Day, Daddy and MiMi came to see Michael at swimming. Of course, Daddy and MiMi took tons of pictures and Daddy videotaped as well. Michael has become a star swimmer in his class. He splashes more than any other baby! It doesn't seem to bother him to get water on his face. He is also really good at kicking and scooping with his arms. He really is a swimmer just like his Mommy and Daddy!
We also got some really funny pictures of Michael with Clover's Leprechaun hat.

Welcome Home, Daddy!
March 14, 2008
In the morning, Michael and I walk Mike to the front door when he leaves for work. Michael and Daddy peek at each other through the little window on our front door and Michael gives his Daddy some really big smiles. Then, we stand in the front bay window to wave goodbye. It has become our routine that Mike and Michael really love.
Tonight, I took Michael outside in his Jeep to greet Mike when he got home from work. Michael has become a master with driving his Jeep. I can hardly take my eyes off him because he moves so fast and has dicovered that he loves to run over things like the dog bowls. He can also open all the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen!! He is very good at navigating backwards as well. He loved being out on the driveway because he had a lot more room to run. When Mike got home, Michael was all smiles and Clover ran around the driveway like a nut. What a wonderful life!!!
Discovering Grass
March 14,2008
Today, Michael and I went to see Robby's Easter parade. It was a beautiful day so I sat Michael in the grass for the very first time. He was so fascinated by it that he missed the entire parade. He kept rubbing his hands on the grass and picking up leaves. Even when I picked him up to point out Robby, his eyes were still fixed on the grass. I can't wait for him to discover the outside world even more when the weather gets nicer.
Look how cute Robby looks in his Easter hat! He was the cutest boy in the parade!!
We love your smile
March 12, 2008
Tonight at dinner, I was commenting on how much I love Michael's smile...it makes me so happy to see him laugh. He is such a happy baby. He smiles from the moment he wakes up until the moment he goes to sleep! At night when he is trying to fall asleep, I'll kiss his little ear and he will smile with his eyes shut while he sucks on his pacifier...it is such a sweet moment! At dinner, after I told Mike how awesome Michael's smile is, he very thoughtfully said, "When Michael smiles he lights up the room."
